A traditional Bothy, newly converted, with room for 6 at the edge of the Lake District / CA10 2DE

Welcome

This is a 3 bed cottage which sleeps 6. It faces south and is a great sun trap thanks to its position against the grey stone of

the old garden walls. It may be let at any time of the year subject to availability.

Within, the cottage is equipped with under-floor heating, a wood burning stove and elegant furnishings which will enhance your stay.

Outside, you have a view of Brougham Hall’s ramparts and of the Pennines. Ducks, red squirrels and guinea fowl are frequent visitors. Highland cattle are often in the Church Field just beyond the cottage lawn, in full view from the French windows of the living room and kitchen.

The river Lowther runs below the back garden and is a beautiful sight at all times of day.
